Who are we?

We are a diverse group of ordinary people of all ages, who seek to grow in our relationship with Jesus, who try to follow Christ’s teaching and example in the whole of our lives, within and beyond our local communities, and who worship God in a variety of styles at our three Church of England Churches:

  • The Church of St Giles and All Saints in Orsett
  • The Church of St Mary the Virgin in Bulphan
  • The Church of St Peter and St Paul in Horndon on the Hill

We hold services weekly, more information is available on our Services page. The dates of services can be found on our calendar and our weekly notices will give more information as to current activities.

FOREST CHURCH – On the first Saturday of each month we have Forest Church at 4pm which alternate between the three churches.  This is an outdoor service with songs and activities, primarily but not exclusively for younger people.  Not much deters us from experiencing the outdoors weather wise, so wellies, boots and warm hats , gloves and coats are the order of the day, we also have a fire pit to help keep us warm and there is always refreshments afterwards, which all are welcome to.

We also have services outside of this at Christmas, Easter and Lent.

Around the Parish, we have a variety of activities and events for people of all ages.

We would love to meet you.
